Cyberpunk 2077 continues to have some notable issues, as you’re almost certainly aware by now. The game launched 10 months ago and has received a steady stream of patches to further iron it out after it released in such a rough state. Today, patch 1.31 has come to Cyberpunk 2077 with even more fixes that continue to slowly chip away at the pile of issues the game continues to offer to its many, many buyers. The patch not only makes gameplay and visual adjustments, but makes plenty of changes to individual quests as well. You can read the full list of patch notes here.
As for gameplay, Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.31 fixes a host of issues. One occurred where upgrading an item with a quest tab wouldn’t remove the base item from the player’s inventory. There was also a problem where adding perks that were meant to increase reload speed would have the opposite effect. What a joy. In addition to those, the height of your character’s charged jump has also been corrected, as that was apparently wrong before. As for more major balance changes, the speed at which enemies detect the player during stealth has been adjusted based on the game’s difficulty, which is a surprising thing to take 10 months. Also, you used to be able to get stuck in your falling animation if you crashed a motorbike while using the perk known as The Rock. Not anymore, though.

In the visual department, there was a problem where roads wouldn’t look wet after rainfall due to work being done on the game’s Wet Surfaces System. That should look a lot better now. Before the patch, shooting with tech weapons would sometimes create a blinding flash of light for no reason, which has now gone the way of the dodo. Even the UI has gotten a couple of fixes, as several descriptions would go missing before. There are some surprisingly major fixes in this patch. Who knows how long it’ll be before the game is finally “done.”
