I’m feeling a little pumped at the next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC this month. Some of the remaining games coming to Game Pass in the latter half of September 2021 contain those I’ve been eyeballing. Aragami 2, for instance, is the sequel to a pretty damn fun co-op ninja game that sort of went under the radar in 2016. Other games heading to Game Pass this month include the charming I Am Fish, and the also charming Skatebird — a game where you skate as a bird. There’s not much need for critical thinking on that one.
There are a whopping 13 games heading to Xbox Game Pass in the latter half of September 2021, and most are heading to PC. Microsoft has been generous on bringing out more and more games for the service. And recently, plenty of those have ended up on Game Pass on day one. An example of that is Aragami 2, which launches for PC and Game Pass on September 17. I can’t wait to get back on that co-op ninja action. Some of the others coming include Superliminal, Sable, Lemnis Gate, and Subnautica: Below Zero.
The next wave begins tomorrow, September 15. It kicks off with Flynn: Son of Crimson, which is followed by I Am Fish, Skatebird, and Superliminal on September 16. After Aragami 2, we’ll get Lost Words: Beyond the Page, Sable, Subnautica, and Tainted Grail: Conquest all on September 23. The remaining games are Lemnis Gate (September 28), Astria Ascending (September 30), and Unsighted (September 30). Keep note that many of these are also available via Microsoft’s Cloud service as well.
Sacrifices must be made
As Xbox Game Pass is often considered a Netflix equivalent for games, as some get added, others get the boot. Five games are leaving the service on September 30. If you haven’t played or finished Night in the Woods, then you better get on it (this is me, reminding myself). The rest of the list of departing games includes Drake Hollow, Ikenfell, Kathy Rain, and Warhammer Vermintide II.
